Focus On The Feeling

We're half way through the first month of the year. A month where many people set sail on a quest towards change. We visualize the life of our dreams and begin to implement ways to make those dreams a reality. 

But for some, visualizing what we want our life to look like a year or 5 from now is challenging… causing us often times to find ourselves stuck in paralyzation. I know I've been there many times before. 

My advise to you? Focus on the feeling. 

How do I want feel in a year?

What will my mornings feel like as the best version of myself?

What would my perfect day feel like? 

Are your future days full of excitement, accomplishment, peace? 

If seeing mental pictures of your dream life is challenging, begin with how you would like tofeel and then work it backwards. 

If your perfect day consists of you feeling excitement-- what thoughts/actions/behaviors would align with the you who feels excitement. Start there.

If your dream life consists of you feeling accomplished-- what thoughts/actions/behaviors would align with the you who feels accomplished. Embody that now.

If your best version lives with a sense of peace-- what thoughts/actions/behaviors would align with the you who feels peace. Starting to make sense?
